Vineet Kamat has been selected by ASCE’s Construction Institute to receive the 2022 Construction Management Award for “groundbreaking research in construction automation and robotics, and outstanding contributions to education in construction management.” The award will be presented at the Joint ASCE Construction Research Congress / Construction Institute (CI) Summit on March 12 in Arlington, VA

Their paper, “A Performance-Based Wind Engineering Framework for Envelope Systems of Engineered Buildings Subject to Directional Wind and Rain Hazards,” was selected by the ASCE Journal of Structural Engineering as the Best Paper in Structural Hazards for 2020.
