We are pleased to announce the second year of the Advancing CEE: Early Career Researcher Seminar Series, hosted and run by the University of Michigan Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering. The purpose of this program is to highlight exceptional research being led by senior graduate students, postdocs, and assistant professors who are underrepresented in the field and/or committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout their work in the civil and environmental engineering disciplines. The seminar series will also expand speakers’ networks and identify potential candidates for future faculty positions and research collaborations.  Abstracts should describe research that aligns with one or more of CEE’s strategic directions. The seminars will take place between October 2024 and April 2025. Selected speakers will give a one-hour seminar and will be awarded a $500 honorarium.
