Branko Kerkez Receives Chi Epsilon Teaching Excellence Award

Assistant ​Professor, Branko Kerkez, has been selected to receive the 2018 Chi Epsilon Great Lakes District Excellence in Teaching Award.

Assistant ​Professor Branko Kerkez has been selected to receive the 2018 Chi Epsilon Great Lakes District Excellence in Teaching Award.

This is an annual award that recognizes high-impact teaching and inspirational mentoring as it applies to the advancement of the field of civil and environmental engineering.

It is awarded to an outstanding civil engineering faculty member who has five years or less of full-time teaching experience.

Chi Epsilon, the national civil engineering honor society, was founded in 1922 to recognize and honor civil engineering students and professionals, and now has 137 active chapters at universities across the United States, including the University of Michigan.

This award also nominates Professor Kerkez for the James M. Robbins National Excellence in Teaching Award.
