On February 13–14, 2024, U-M hosted the first-ever Electric-Water Utility Resiliency Summit at the University of Michigan’s North Campus Research Complex. Co-sponsored by GLWA, Consumers Energy, DTE, and ITC, this landmark event brought together infrastructure leaders from across Michigan to address a critical question: How can we work together to build a more resilient future for our water and power systems? This video captures key moments and takeaways from the summit, spotlighting important conversations around cross-sector collaboration, regional infrastructure challenges, and innovative strategies to strengthen system resilience. Whether you’re a utility professional, policymaker, academic, or community member, we invite you to explore how Michigan’s leading organizations are coming together to protect and advance the systems that support our daily lives.
