Professor Wigginton selected for Department Excellence Award
Assistant Professor Krista Rule Wigginton has been selected by the CEE Honors and Awards Committee to receive the 2018 Department Excellence Award.
Assistant Professor Krista Rule Wigginton has been selected by the CEE Honors and Awards Committee to receive the 2018 Department Excellence Award.
Dr. Krista Rule Wigginton’s research focuses on applications of environmental biotechnology in drinking water and wastewater treatment. In particular, her research group develops new methods to detect and analyze the fate of emerging pollutants in the environment.
Her devotion to the CEE program in terms of pioneering research, inspiring teaching and unselfish service have been phenomenal to the success of the entire CEE community.
She will be honored later this semester at the College of Engineering Honors and Awards dinner in March.
