Responsibilities

As a research administrator, I manage pre- and post-award submissions for faculty. I establish project grants, appropriately re-budget funds, and make changes to allocations or expenditures, including preparing journal entries, assisting in reviewing and approving reimbursement requests, expense reports, and purchasing requests, and processing invoices for payment. Additional Human Resources duties include student funding, ensuring compliance with U-M policies, managing job data, salary distributions, effort changes, terminations, and resolving problems with HR actions.
