Tabitha Rohn

Research Administrator Senior

2188 GGB

2350 Hayward, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109-2125

I was a cohort for the pilot of the Navigate Fundamental courses and have continued to attend the Navigate courses provided through U-M. I was a mentee for the Research Administration Mentoring Program (RAMP) and participated in the Research Administrators’ Network (RAN) meetings.

As a research administrator, I manage pre- and post-award submissions for faculty. As a member of the Finance Team, I prepare or deposit cash/check deposits, resolve unsubmitted expense report inquiries, set up and inactivate financial accounts and assist in reviewing and approving reimbursement requests. I also place orders for students, postdocs and faculty. I assist the HR Team in processing summer salary requests and process the hiring and terminations of student temporary employees. As part of the hiring process, I monitor I-9 form submissions. I coordinate with the Student Services Team to review and approve student funding requests and process temp appointments for graders and instructional aides (IAs).

I like to be challenged and find new experiences exhilarating. I like change and always seek ways to make better use of my time. I always make myself available so if you need my assistance, do not hesitate to ask.
