The Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) department is proud to announce that two of our students have received awards from the Engineering Research Symposium in Fall 2021. Yi Zhu received the Richard and Eleanor Towner Prize for Outstanding Ph.D. Research, and Kathryn Langenfeld received an Honorable Mention for the Richard and Eleanor Towner Prize for Outstanding Ph.D. Research.
The Engineering Research Symposium is an event spanning many colleges and universities. Its goal is to focus on students’ research from all different levels and honor students’ hard work and dedication to their field. Part of the day-long event includes presenting research to peers and alumni, receiving feedback from viewers, attending keynote sessions with featured speakers and earning monetary prizes when receiving one of the top awards.
CEE is very proud of Yi Zhu and Kathryn Langenfeld for their research and dedication to their work.
