CEE Ph.D. student, Sampurna Datta, has been selected to receive the Barbour Centennial Award. Datta will receive $10,500 that may be used as a stipend or towards a tuition payment.
Established in 2017 to honor 100 years of one of the University’s oldest and most prestigious scholarships, the Barbour Centennial Award helps mitigate the financial strain that often comes with graduate student research; including travel, resources, and living expenses. Barbour Scholar alumnae from across the globe come together to contribute to this gift.
Sampurna Datta is geotechnical doctoral student advised by Associate Professor Dimitrios Zekkos.
Congratulations Sampurna!
