ASCE/CEEFA Banquet 2019
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) student chapter hosted an event honoring several members of the CEE community.
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) student chapter hosted their annual banquet on Friday, April 5, at the Michigan League. The event brought together current students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Friends Association (CEEFA). After presentations from the Department Chair Jerome Lynch, CEEFA Board President Jim Jacobi, and members of several student organizations, ASCE Faculty Advisor Associate Professor Carol Menassa presented graduating ASCE board members with ASCE stoles.
ASCE and CEEFA also presented awards honoring faculty, graduate student instructors (GSI) and staff. This year’s honorees included:

Assistant Professor Krista Wigginton (ASCE Faculty of the Year)
Amy Shepherd (ASCE Staff of the Year)
Margaret Reuter (ASCE GSI of the Year)
