Responsibilities
- Provide testing lab support, both wet and dry, including machine diagnostics and repair, maintenance and training, scheduling of tests, functional supervision of students in the labs
- Establish and resolve safety issues and training, including documentation of training
- Evaluate and design lab apparatus, build wood and concrete structures including their disposal
- Manage the disposal and storage of materials
- Set up and assist in the instruction and running of undergrad labs
- Assist grad students with complex research experiments
- Select materials, methods & equipment for use in research projects
- Fabrication of wood and plastic-based materials
- Building needs, housekeeping needs both wet and dry
- Hydraulic systems
