EWRE Research Facilities:
Environmental Engineering Laboratory  The Environmental and Water Resources Engineering laboratories at The University of Michigan are among the most advanced and sophisticated in the world. The more than 30,000 square feet in the Environmental and Water Resources Engineering and Institute of Science and Technology Buildings consist of centralized organic and inorganic contaminant analyses laboratories, a large unit operations and processes laboratory, ten walk-in constant temperature rooms, and a shop for the fabrication of experimental apparatus. The central analytical laboratory facilities are equipped with the most up-to-date and sophisticated analytical instrumentation for conducting environmental analysis of trace organic and inorganic pollutants. Individual and group laboratories have tailor-made equipment for conducting state-of-the-art research in environmental chemistry and microbiology, interfacial process dynamics, hazardous substance treatment and control, soil physics and groundwater modeling, biological and physical-chemical water treatment processes, and soil and groundwater remediation processes.More Facilities: |
