Assistant Professor Valeriy Ivanov a guest lecturer in Italy

Assistant Professor Valeriy Ivanov recently taught a summer class at the University of Palermo in Italy. The summer school, which was held from June 14 through 18, was dedicated to PhD students, post doctoral candidates, researchers and professors interested in ecohydrology. Ivanov was among a group of four guest lecturers, comprised of three professors from U.S. universities (Duke, Princeton and Michigan) as well as a professor from the University of Basilicata in Italy.

Ivanov graduated from MIT with a PhD in hydrology, and has been an assistant professor at U-M for three years.
